Abstract:
The recently developed graph limit theory is part of a bigger picture in
which limits of axiomatizable structures are studied. We present new results
about the case when the underlying structures are functions on groups. The
corresponding limit theory is deeply connected to a theory called "higher
order Fourier analysis" which was founded by Gowers to generalize Roth's
approach to three term arithmetic progressions in integer sets.
