Although we do not have much news to announce at this point, we decided to nevertheless send a new newsletter in order to remind you of the upcoming selection of 10 new GAMM Juniors and encourage you to suggest young scientists from our group.
Nomination of GAMM Juniors
As in the years before, also this year 10 new GAMM Juniors will be selected. A GAMM Junior shall have graduated with exceptional achievements in their final master thesis and/or PhD thesis in the field of Applied Mathematics or Mechanics, shall be younger than 32 years at June 15, 2013. If the nominee is a Post-Doc, then his/her PhD examination shall not be older than two years. During the time as GAMM Junior, the GAMM membership fees are waived. Nominations for the group of GAMM Juniors can be submitted to the GAMM representative of your university, and need be sent to the GAMM secretary until June 15, 2013. We would like to encourage you to suggest young scientists from our community.
