Abstract :
The Boussinesqu equation is used to describe crystal melt flows. For tracking type quadratic functionals are to minimize during the finding of an optimal boundary temperature or heat flux. The optimization system is constructed and an algorithm to evaluate the necessary optimality condition is developed. For a Czochralski crystal melt and a zone melting configuration numerical results are presented.
