Thematic Einstein Semester on
Network Games, Tropical Geometry, and
Network Games, Tropical Geometry, and
Quantum Communication
(April 15 - July 5 2019)
Scope
As part of the dynamic research agenda of MATH+ this first "Thematic Einstein Semester (TES)" is aiming for building new bridges between different fields of mathematics and for reaching out to other areas of science. This TES is motivated by challenges arising in the analysis and the algorithmic treatment of next generation networks. We believe that this area will benefit from additional geometric insights. Also of interest, with potential (but as yet unexplored) applications, are quantum communication networks aimed at secure multi-partite communication. The TES is supported by Einstein Stiftung Berlin.
