Final projects:

Subdivision:

  • Subdivision in other spaces (hyperbolic, spherical). Andreas Staab
  • Subdivision by using symmetry (translation, reflection)

Symmetry:

  • Collection of Space Groups. Evelyn Jungnickel

jReality scene-improvements:

  • Add shade of the objects in the scene
  • Reflection Map with objects in the scene
  • Refraction Shader (glass-like looking) (using GLS-Shaders)
  • Improve transparency, (softwarerenderer should use jogl for that)

Games:

  • CAVE-Toys: Translate a bunch of games from C to Java, improve the Atlantis scenario and implement some new games

Planetarium:

  • Implement for given data different Planetarium-scenarios for our CAVE

Mars:

  • Switch the Marsflight-scenario to 64bit and improve the given Code. Implement alternate route/routes

Leveleditor:

  • Implement a simple Leveleditor for jReality where you can create walls and holes in the scene. The editor could be based on the cubeengine (now Sauerbraten) and/or WinX 3D
