Differential Geometry III (Summer 17) – Fluid Mechanics –

This is a BMS advanced course, so the lectures will be in english.

In this class we will develop fluid dynamics from the viewpoint of Differential Geometry. We will cover the foundations as well as special topics, including recent progress concerning algorithms for Fluid Simulation. We will assume basic knowledge on differentiable manifolds, but with some effort it should also be possible to pick this up as we go along.
