Fourier Analysis

This application illustrates the Fourier analysis of a periodic function.

The expressions L(t) and R(t) define the function on the intervals [min, center] (left) and [center, max] (right). The center may coinside with min or max.

The order of the Fourier polynomial can be chosen betwenn 0 and 200. For "high" order you may experience numerical inaccuracies.

The chart shows 3 periods of the prescribed function. It has a context menu offering various features, like zooming or exporting. The context menu is accessed via the right mouse button.
