As of a recent update to mesa - or something like that - I can no longer run jReality on my linux PC. It has broken my project jOcular when running on linux.
This bug is popping up all over the place on many projects that rely on jogl.

I'm not sure if this should be addressed in jReality but I thought you should know.
It sounds like it would be best addressed in mesa, but next best would be jogl. Depending on how quickly they respond, it might have to be done in jReality although that would likely be a nasty hack.
