Audio pipeline issues on OS X 10.7.3

Post by peterkirn » Mon 30. Apr 2012, 13:11

Hello - I'd worked a bit with Peter Brinkmann on libpd support (and his work on his updated Java wrapper for JACK). I have to confess, I hadn't fired up audio since a recent OS update.

Now, the audio pipeline is breaking here - regardless of which audio pipeline is used (any audio playback examples, that is, causes this):

Vendor = NVIDIA Corporation
Have automipmap generation = true
java(17227,0x112cd4000) malloc: *** error for object 0xf000000000000000: pointer being freed was not allocated
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
fCoreAudioDriverUID AppleHDAEngineInput:1B,0,1,0:1

I managed to make it work ... once. For reasons I can't quite follow.

Complete error dump:

I expect there's more I can try here ;) ... but anyone with any clue, let me know; you know how much fun tracing these sorts of errors can be!
