Invitation

The main objective of the VW Summer School 2010 on Infinite Dimensional Operator Matrices is to give an introduction and an overview. In addition, there will be example classes.

This summer school will be held from Monday July 5 through Friday July 9, with Sunday July 4 as arrival day and Saturday July 10 as departure day.

Attendance

The school is open to international PhD, PostDocs and advanced undergraduate students from engineering sciences, physics or mathematics. A background in functional analysis and operator theory or related fields is required. Deadline for application: March 20, 2010.

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships will be available. These scholarships will in general cover the lodging and partial or full travel expenses. The selection of the students will be based on the quality of their application and their working field. Deadline: March 20, 2010.
