in this second announcement we give some updated informations concerning the

8th Workshop Operator Theory in Krein Spaces and Inverse Problems

Thursday 18. to Sunday 21. December 2008
at the Technische Universität Berlin

Opening: Thursday, December 18 at 9 am



Dear Colleague,

In this second announcement we give some updated informations concerning
the 8th Workshop Operator Theory.

VERY IMPORTANT (for those getting support):
According to the regulations of the DFG and the
administration of the TU Berlin:
We need a bill of your flight or train ticket or your original flight
or train. Please have it Thursday with you.
We will make a copy. Those who get full support have to send
us the ticket (and the bill) after they returned home.

Conference Fee:
This year we will impose a conference fee of 100 Euro. This fee will include the conference
dinner on Friday, 19th, lunch on Saturday and Sunday and coffee/cookies in the breaks.
Moreover, a welcome reception will be held on Wednesday, 17th.
Accompanying persons have to pay 40 Euro if they join the conference dinner.
Please let us know by December 10 if there are any accompanying persons with you.

Social Events:

Walk and reception on Wednesday, 17th, 7:00pm.
We will meet at the north-west exit of the subway station Bismarckstrasse
(at the corner of Wimersdorfer Str. and Bismarckstrasse) at 7pm.

Then we will walk to the christmas market
at the palace Charlottenburg (with a very nicely illuminated palace).

At around 9 pm (for those arriving later) there will be a welcome reception at

Conference dinner will be on Friday, 19th, 8:00 pm.

The restaurant is in walking distance from the TU Berlin,
after the last talk on Friday we will walk together to the restaurant.


Conference Site:
The workshop will be held at the TU Berlin, room MA 415 (Mathematical Department Building).
There will be a beamer, a laptop, a projector for slides and a blackboard.
If you want to use the beamer for your talk, please create a pdf-file of
your slides and send it untill Tuesday, December 16, to
