Dear Colleague,

in this third announcement we give some updated informations concerning the

3rd Workshop Operator Theory in Krein Spaces and Applications
Friday, Dec 12, to Sunday, Dec 14, 2003


Opening: Friday, December 12 at 9 am
Closing: Sunday, December 14 at 1 pm


Conference Site:
The workshop will be held at the TU Berlin, room MA 415
(Mathematical Department Building, Straße des 17. Juni 136 10623 Berlin - Charlottenburg,
subway station: Ernst-Reuter-Platz).
There will be a projector for slides, a blackboard and a beamer with a laptop.
If you want to use the beamer for your talk, please create a pdf-file of your slides and send it,
if possible, in advance to

behrndt@math.tu-berlin.de


Proceedings:
It is planned to have proceedings of the conference in the Birkhaeuser OT-series.
The papers to be published in the proceedings will be refereed as if they were papers
submitted to IEOT. We encourage you to submit a paper until Juli, 31, 2004 to one of the organizers.

Social Events:
Thursday (December, 11):
For those participants which are interested to see Berlin at night, we will meet at 7 pm at the
VW Automobil Forum which is Unter den Linden 21 (at the corner to the Friedrichstrasse),
station Friedrichstrasse or subway station Französische Strasse.
We will then make a short walk along Unter den Linden (opera, Humboldt university, dome etc.)
to the Gendarmenmarkt. Thereafter we plan to have dinner at some restaurant.

Friday (December, 12):
Like last year, we will reserve some places for dinner at a restaurant near to the TU Berlin.

Saturday (December, 13):
You can join in visiting a concert (7:30 pm) of Wolfgang Boettcher playing J.S. Bach:
suites for violoncello G-Dur and c-Moll; Aribert Reimann: "Solo II" (2001).
This will be at the Konzertsaal of the UdK, Bundesallee 1-12, (this is in walking distance from the hotel Vier Jahreszeiten).
The entrance is for free.


How to get to the hotel Vier Jahreszeiten:
The hotel is located at the subway station Güntzelstrasse.
If you arrive at one of Berlin's airports or railway stations, take a bus or train to Berlin Zoologischer Garten.
There take the subway U9 running to Rathaus Steglitz and leave the subway at the station Güntzelstrasse.

How to get from the hotel Vier Jahreszeiten to the conference site:
Take the subway at Güntzelstrasse in the direction Osloer Strasse. At Berlin Zoologischer Garten you have to change the subway.
There you take the subway U2 in the direction Ruhleben and you leave at the station Ernst-Reuter-Platz.

Enclosed you will find a map with the S-Bahn and subway connections in Berlin.
