Dear Colleague,

in this third announcement we give some updated informations concerning the

4th Workshop Operator Theory in Krein Spaces and Applications

Friday, 17. to Sunday, 19. December 2004
at the Technische Universität Berlin

Opening: Friday, December 17 at 9 am
Closing: Sunday, December 19 at 4 pm


VERY IMPORTANT (for those getting a support):
According to the regulations of the DFG: We need a bill or the original ticket of
your flight or train. Please have it Friday with you.


Conference Fee:
We decided to increase the conference fee. Conference fee is 55 Euro now.
It includes the conference dinner, lunch on Saturday AND (what is new) the lunch on Sunday.

Accompanying persons have to pay 25 Euro if they join the conference dinner.
Up to now only Prof. Pivovarchik, Prof. Arlinskii and Dr. Lasarow announced an accompanying person.
Please let us know till Tuesday, 14, December if there are any accompanying persons with you.


Conference Site:
The workshop will be held at the TU Berlin, room MA 415
(Mathematical Department Building, Straße des 17. Juni 136 10623 Berlin - Charlottenburg,
subway station: Ernst-Reuter-Platz).
There will be a projector for slides, a blackboard and a beamer with a laptop.
If you want to use the beamer for your talk, please create a pdf-file of your slides and send it
untill Wednesday, 15, 2005, 18:00 to

behrndt@math.tu-berlin.de

Proceedings:
It is planned to have proceedings of the conference in the Birkhaeuser OT-series.
The papers to be published in the proceedings will be refereed as if they were papers
submitted to IEOT. We encourage you to submit a paper untill Juli, 31, 2005 to one of the organizers.
Moreover if you are planning to submit we need a tentative title untill January, 31, 2005.


Social Events:
Thursday (December, 16):
For those participants which are interested to see Berlin at night, we will meet at 7 pm
in front of the department store C&A at the corner of Joachumsthaler Str. to Kurfuerstendamm.
Subway station Kurfuerstendamm. We will then make a short walk along Kurfuerstendamm (Bulgari, Cartier, etc.).

Thereafter (around 9 pm, for those arriving later) we will have dinner at the restaurant

Friday (December, 17):
This year we will have a conference dinner (included in the conference fee).

How to get to the hotel Vier Jahreszeiten:
The hotel is located at the subway station Güntzelstrasse. If you arrive at one of Berlin's airports or railway stations, take a bus or train to Berlin Zoologischer Garten.
There take the subway U9 running to Rathaus Steglitz and leave the subway at the station Güntzelstrasse.

How to get from the hotel Vier Jahreszeiten to the conference site:
Take the subway at Güntzelstrasse in the direction Osloer Strasse. At Berlin Zoologischer Garten you have to change the subway.
There you take the subway U2 in the direction Ruhleben and you leave at the station Ernst-Reuter-Platz.

On our website (which includes also a list of participants and a list of abstracts)
you will also find a map with the S-Bahn and subway connections in Berlin.

The reception of the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten is open all night.
